Well this weekend has seen some progress – eventually!
This last week has seen some personal issues related to my employment and my health come sharply into focus once more. Not at my behest mind, my employers have decided on a reorganisation of things. Fine; however I could do without the “water-boarding” treatment. I shall not expand on anything more, save to say there are ways “not” to treat anyone who is a bipolar sufferer. My employers seem not to be able to grasp this sadly – such is the wheel of fate. One hopes that matters can, after last week and its effects, be dealt with with more humanity. Save to say a salvation and source of comfort is the modelling – so long as I am functioning sufficiently well mind!
Enough blethering, some Archer riveting has been done so I’d better get some piccies sorted – the SPV which was the recipient, looks rather tasty. More pending the next few days I hope.
Some lettering has also finally restarted. ALPS printer derived and based on images from Paul Bartlett’s wonderful site, its nice to be able to get this specific with the decals. I have found that sensible use of Johnsons Kleer seems to help greatly with both the putting on and protecting of the decals as well. Others are pending, that is once I have drawn them up. A good deal of time has been spent this time getting the correct sizing worked out before getting the Corel files converted and sent to my chum and ALPS operator/owner Mr Faulkner MIEE. Some long evenings await me, I can sense them calling.
Be seeing you
